Very weak entertainment & massive Wi-Fi problems
Decent ship with appealing cabins. The food consistently ranged from good to very good, as did the (included) drinks. Evening entertainment during our 17-day cruise was comparatively weak compared to other organizers. No real shows like on other ships - practically only solo entertainers like a comedian, a magician, a drag artist. A singer, etc. (Exception: a 4-member group of artists), who also performed twice each! About a quarter of the days, there were no theater performances at all. It's worlds apart from the elaborate shows by Costa and MSC, not to mention American ships. In the bars, only occasional solo musicians or a duo - a 5-member "show band" (?) in the "SchauBar" was the highlight. But far too little for 2,500 passengers... The number of seats in the bars: in cool weather, it was extremely difficult to find a seat inside; in warm weather, giving up on finding a seat outside was the norm. What was completely unacceptable for us: from the end of the third day, the Wi-Fi was practically available only for minutes, if lucky. On the last days, there was a total outage due to apparent hardware problems. Unfortunately, the ship's management did not openly communicate this until the end; instead, there was only vague mention of "difficulties." Everyone on such cruises knows the sometimes very slow setup of the internet connection - but here, there was typically no connection at all. This led to heated discussions and frustration on board, and one can imagine the consequences for TUI...

Port Abu Dhabi
My Ship 6 is large, and everyone has enough space. I won't comment further on general complaints. My criticism relates to the very sparse information about the respective berths and their connection to city centers. This is particularly concerning for Abu Dhabi. According to boat information, there were only taxis or the excursion bus mentioned. Not a word about public bus line number 9 and another line, thus no information about the payment system or route map. Bus prices in the UAE are very affordable, reliable, and quick. So, for those with a bit of courage, there's a lot to save. Other cruise lines in the same area are much more customer-friendly when it comes to providing information.
